About Me

I have over 15 years of experience in the field of education. I have a double Master’s degree in Education and Teaching from University College London’s Institute of Education, which has been ranked as the world number one for Education for the seventh year in a row.

I am currently a training and development consultant. As part of the Technical Learning and Development team, I design, develop, and deliver trainings to a variety of clients. Currently, the interaction with learners is largely through Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) that includes scenario-based learning, storytelling, guided learning, case studies, and learning through exploration and discovery (LEAD).

Previously, I worked as a training consultant at Data Society and, as part of the Learning and Development team, I conducted stakeholder needs analysis, developed and proofread training materials for courses in Data Science such as job aids, presentations, instructor guides, participant workbooks, assessments, etc. I managed projects for clients and created project plans to support the development and delivery of synchronous training events.

In the last three years, I have taken courses in software engineering and data science as I’m passionate about the intersection of education and technology. I am continuing to study topics in technology.

I have recently taken NovoEd’s course on Learning Experience Design and, I am exploring on my own how to create an effective learning experience online.

My hobbies include learning Spanish on Duolingo, practicing yoga, and reading.
